Lane County Tree Farmer of the Year Up-River Property Tour

Join us on July 15 to tour Rail Creek Tree Farm!

Prepare for an informational hike into the footprint of the 2020 Holiday Farm Fire.

The road is rocked, with significant sun exposure once the lower canopy is left behind. Plan on a nearly 1000 foot elevation gain in just under a mile. Bring sunscreen and a hat!

We'll have stops along the way, to catch our breath and hear about pre- and post-fire family and forest management history.

At the top of the trail we'll be treated to expansive views and a drone flight over the property. Water and trail snacks will be provided.

Note: there will be limited assistance available to participants who find the climb difficult.
